On December 10, 2019, Cummins Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors authorized the Company to repurchase an additional $2 billion shares of common stock upon completion of the Company's 2018 $2 billion share repurchase program. A copy of the press release is filed herewith as Exhibit 99 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.

Cummins Inc. Approves Share Repurchase Program

COLUMBUS, INDIANA - On December 10, The Board of Directors of Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI) authorized the Company to repurchase up to $2 billion in shares of common stock upon completion of its 2018 $2 billion share repurchase program.
