|NOTE 16. SUBSEQUENT EVENT On April 29, 2019, we announced that we are conducting a formal review of our emissions certification process and compliance with emissions standards for our pick-up truck applications, following conversations with the EPA and CARB regarding certification for our engines in model year 2019 RAM 2500 and 3500 trucks. This review is being conducted with external advisors to ensure the certification process for our pick-up truck applications, which includes engines for the RAM 2500 and 3500 vehicles, is consistent with our internal policies, engineering standards and applicable laws. In addition, we announced that we have voluntarily disclosed our formal review to our regulators and other agencies and will work cooperatively to ensure a complete and thorough review. Due to the preliminary nature of our formal review and the presence of many unknown facts and circumstances, we cannot predict the outcome and we cannot provide assurance that the matter will not have a materially adverse impact on our results of operations, financial condition and cash flows.
The entire disclosure for significant events or transactions that occurred after the balance sheet date through the date the financial statements were issued or the date the financial statements were available to be issued. Examples include: the sale of a capital stock issue, purchase of a business, settlement of litigation, catastrophic loss, significant foreign exchange rate changes, loans to insiders or affiliates, and transactions not in the ordinary course of business.
