Cummins Inc. Selected as One of The ``100 Best Places to Work in IT'' by IDG's Computerworld magazine
COLUMBUS, Ind.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Cummins Inc. (NYSE:CMI) today was named as one of the "100 Best Places to Work in IT" by IDG Computerworld. This is the first time Cummins has made the Best Places to Work list, and the Company finished No. 43 overall and No. 20 on the list of best large companies.
For the past 14 years, Computerworld magazine has compiled an annual ranking of the 100 best work environments for IT professionals. The Best Places to Work feature will appear in the June 18 issue of Computerworld and online at www.computerworld.com/2007bestplaces.
The ranking is based on a comprehensive questionnaire regarding company offerings in categories such as benefits, diversity, career development, training and retention. In addition, Computerworld conducts extensive surveys of IT workers, and their responses factor heavily in determining the rankings.

In order to be considered for a place on the Computerworld Best Places to Work list, a U.S. company must have $100 million in annual revenue and a minimum of 300 total employees and 50 IT employees. With revenue of $11.4 billion in 2006, Cummins is No. 221 on Fortune magazine's list of the 500 largest U.S companies.
Cummins currently employs approximately 700 full-time IT employees, who provide a wide range of IT solutions to support the Company's employees and businesses around the world.
