Joseph Saoud Named to Head Cummins Filtration
COLUMBUS, Ind.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI) announced today that Joseph Saoud, Managing Director, Middle East Distribution, has been named Vice President and President of Cummins Filtration. Saoud will assume his new role on April 1.

Joseph has had extensive experience in this business and possesses the broad skills needed to take this organization to even greater levels of performance," said Rich Freeland, President of the Components Group, which includes Cummins' filtration, turbocharger, emission solutions and fuel systems businesses.
Saoud joined Cummins in June 1995 in the parts and services organization, working in the Company's Memphis, Juarez and El Paso operations. He moved to Fuel Systems as Director - Materials in 2000 and subsequently accepted an assignment with the Emission Solutions business as Director - Manufacturing, Finance and Supply Chain. In recent years, he held leadership roles in the exhaust operations and served as General Manager of Cummins Filtration in Mexico and in Cookeville, Tennessee.
Prior to joining Cummins, Saoud received an MBA from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University and a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi.
